What counts as an "agent request"?
An agent request is any API call made by an AI agent to search, browse, or purchase from your connected store. This includes product searches, inventory checks, and purchase transactions.
How do agent transactions work?
PennyLane uses cryptographically signed mandates for secure agent transactions. When an AI agent makes a purchase, it signs the order with HMAC-SHA256 to prove authorization. This ensures all transactions are verified and auditable.
Can I switch plans later?
Absolutely! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When upgrading, you'll get immediate access to new features. When downgrading, changes take effect at the next billing cycle.
What happens if I exceed my limits?
On tiered plans, additional requests are queued until the next month. You'll receive a notification at 80% usage. Upgrade to Merchant or Developer for unlimited requests.
Is there a setup fee?
No setup fees, ever. You only pay for your monthly subscription. The SDK is free and open-source.
